Curious Muffin Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. It is Curious Muffin's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, https://curiousmuffin.ml, and across the Curious Muffin Discord Bot Application. It is important that you read and understand the terms that apply to you when you use any of our services.

This Terms of Use and Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used or disclosed by Curious Muffin, and the conditions that you must abide by when utilizing any of our products or services. This policy applies to the Curious Muffin website, https://curiousmuffin.ml, and the Curious Muffin Discord Bot Application (collectively, “Curious Muffin”). By accessing or using Curious Muffin, you signify that you have read, understood and agree to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and the conditions set forth by the Terms of Use. In addition, you also signify that you have read, understood, and agree to Discord's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy practices.

Curious Muffin may link to external sites that are not operated by us. In addition, Curious Muffin utilizes external APIs to provide commands, such as news, stock, weather information. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites or services, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies or content. The verification of the authenticity of the provided content is your responsibility.

Your continued use of Curious Muffin will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any questions about how we handle user data and personal information, feel free to contact us.

Terminology

Server Manager: Any Discord user who has the ability to invite or configure Curious Muffin for a Discord server. This is usually an administrator or moderator.

Server Member: Any Discord user who is a member of a Discord server to which Curious Muffin has been added. This includes Server Managers.

Data Collected Automatically

The following items are automatically collected and stored when you interact with the Curious Muffin application in any way. If you are not comfortable with your data being stored, you may contact us at any time and we can remove any information that has been linked to your Discord server or account.

• The server name, server ID, owner username, and member count of each Discord server in which Curious Muffin is being used.

• Any Curious Muffin commands that you use. This information is linked with your server name and server ID.

Data Collected By Command

The following items are collected and stored when intentionally provided by a Discord user through a bot command. This information is not collected automatically. When providing data in this way, you forego any rights to the content of the data that you have provided. If you are not comfortable with your data being stored, you may contact us at any time and we can remove any information that has been linked to your Discord server or account.

• The updated command prefix for Curious Muffin if it is changed from the default. This information is linked with your server information.

• Any reminders, notes, or textual information that you choose to provide to Curious Muffin for storage. This information is linked with your username and user ID.

• Any feedback or comments that you choose to provide to Curious Muffin. This information is linked with your server and user information.

Data Storage

While storage methods vary, almost all user data collected by Curious Muffin is stored as a database through Google Sheets. Although this information is password-protected, no data can be 100% secure.

Exceptions: The following information is not stored on a private database and could be publicly accessed at any time.

• The new Command Prefix and your server ID if it is changed from from the default.

• Any content of any reminders, notes, or textual information that you choose to provide to Curious Muffin for storage. Your username or user ID linked with the information is stored separately and is not publicly accessible.

If you are not comfortable with your data being stored, you must request for it to be removed through the contact form.

Your Responsibilities

You must make sure that you abide by the terms and conditions set forth by Discord and Curious Muffin. You have the right to use Curious Muffin and the content and information it provides only for informational and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use or store information on Curious Muffin that you know to be unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable or harmful, or that contains or links harmful or inappropriate content. You also agree not to use any automated tools to access or use the services provided by Curious Muffin in any way. In addition, you agree not to abuse any of the services or commands provided by Curious Muffin in an effort to slow down, limit, or break any of the provided services. The materials or information provided by Curious Muffin are the property of Curious Muffin or its providers, and are protected by copyright. You agree not to modify, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast, or circulate any such material without the consent of Curious Muffin.

Feedback

All feedback regarding Curious Muffin is appreciated. When you submit any form of feedback or comments, you forego any rights you have in your feedback so that we may use and allow others to use it without any restriction and without any payment to you.. This feedback may be utilized to improve or promote Curious Muffin's services.

Agreement

You are free to refuse or remove our services, with the understanding that you may no longer have access to the Curious Muffin Bot Application or Curious Muffin website. By adding Curious Muffin to your Discord server or using the service in any way, you are consenting to the policies outlined in this document. In addition, you (the server manager) are agreeing to inform your members of the Developer Terms of Service and the contents of this document. If you, the server manager, do not agree to this document, you may remove Curious Muffin from the server. If you, the server member, do not agree to this document, you may leave the server that contains Curious Muffin. We may, at any time, and at our sole discretion, modify these Terms and Conditions of Use, including our Privacy Policy, with or without notice to you. Curious Muffin also reserves the right to suspend or terminate any of its services at any given time, without any notice to you. Any such modifications or actions will be effective immediately. Your continued use of Curious Muffin following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of these modified Terms.
